PROTEIN ENERGY BITES

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter (natural)
  • 1/3 cup of honey 
  • 1 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup of ground flax seed
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • add a little bit of cinnamon or vanilla extract if desired

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix wet ingredients together (I heat up a little in the microwave so they mix better-30 sec)
  2. Add all the other ingredients and mix really well
  3. Roll dough into 1.5 inch balls
  4. Place on cookie sheet with wax paper
  5. Let sit in fridge for 30 minutes
  6. They last up to 1 week in the fridge in a ziploc bag or place in freezer and take out as needed!
